POS.IM Peripherals

POS•IM converts your PC or Macintosh into a cash register at point-of-sale, with the addition of a cash drawer, barcode scanner, receipt printer and customer display. Depending upon your store needs, you can install POS•IM as a single-user system or as a multi-user system. Here is description of each one:

The single-user system is where you have one computer at Point-of-Sale that serves multiple functions for your store. POSIM will be installed on this computer, and it will be used to ring sales, along with creating purchase orders, receiving merchandise, printing barcode labels, running reports, etc. This scenario works fine if you can create your orders and do your receiving before or after store hours. When it’s not busy, you can also have both the sales point and the inventory analyzer screens open at the same time, and just switch back and forth on the taskbar as you wait on customers. If you find that you have a steady stream of customers, then it’s best to install a second computer in the back and network the two so that you can do different tasks simultaneously. This is the advantage of a multi-user system – you can split up the functions between two computers, and manage the flow of business more efficiently.

For each POS peripheral that you purchase from Micro Solve, Inc., we will stand behind the manufacturer’s warranty for that peripheral. (Hand held scanners have a 5-year warranty, receipt printers have a 3-year warranty, and barcode printers & cash drawers have a 2-year warranty).

If you have a problem with the peripheral while it is still under warranty, we will help you troubleshoot the problem and facilitate the repair or replacement of the peripheral, at no charge.
