Micro Solve, Inc., a computer
and retail consulting firm has been assisting independent retail stores in the installation, setup, and training
for POS•IM since 1993. Our current customers cover a wide range, including quilt & fabric shops, yarn & needlework
stores, gift stores, arts & crafts, music, toys, furniture, bed & bath, apparel, outdoor retail, wine shops,
museum stores, and many other specialty retailers.
Our team of professionals offer
assistance in managing the implementation of POS•IM from when the customer
starts until they are up and running live on the system. We work with brand new shops, helping them set up their
inventory database and learn the system before they open their doors, as well as existing stores in their transition
to an automated system. Our customers count on us to provide the best customer service and to guide them every step
of the way to become comfortable, confident, and efficient using POS•IM.

Susan started Micro Solve in 1983 with a focus on accounting and custom database solutions for small businesses. In 1993, she decided to represent POS•IM for retail businesses. You’ll see her doing presentations at trade shows, Apple Stores, and retail business organizations. Susan expresses her enthusiasm in saying “We have such a great fit with our team of professionals and a fantastic inventory management and point-of-sale software program for retail business! Our customers are happy…what more can I say!”
Windows
You’ll receive a welcome email from Carolyn, introducing you to our team! She helps our customers from the very beginning, as they gather their inventory and vendor information to create their company database. She works with Microsoft Excel templates that are created in a format for import directly into POS•IM for Windows. Carolyn offers tips on entering the data into these spreadsheets in an efficient, time saving manner.
Victoria tackles the task of bring our customers live on POS•IM! Her extensive retail background and solid knowledge of POS•IM for Windows offers a tremendous value to our customers as they begin the process of implementation. Victoria takes an organized, no nonsense approach as she patiently coaches each customer through the setup process. Victoria comments, “My reward is when I see a customer using POS•IM’s features to the full extent to manage their store ~ that’s when I know they will truly benefit from the software and be successful!”
Macintosh
Cobi is our POS•IM Mac specialist. She has been working with POS•IM since 1995, starting as a user of the software for George Fox College Computer Store. As assistant manager for the bookstore (computer store), she learned how to utilize POS•IM’s fabulous inventory control and customer tracking features. Since her first love is teaching, she later decided to share her knowledge of POS•IM with retail stores and now consults with them as they implement POS•IM for their store.
Quickbooks
Debbie looks at the big picture. She is our QuickBooks accounting expert. This is an area that is difficult to grasp for many people, but so important to a business’s success. Debbie gives our customers confidence in knowing that their accounting is set up right!
